Bioelectronics at SXSW

We are pursuing a new scientific field that could one day result in a novel class of medicines that would not be pills or injections, but miniaturized, implantable devices.

It’s simple: here at GSK, innovation is our business. For the past 150 years, we’ve been developing innovative medicines, vaccines and consumer healthcare products that are used by millions of people around the world. 

And we aren’t slowing down. We continue to look at new ways to innovate in the healthcare space. At SXSW 2015, we presented our work on biosensors in partnership with McLaren. And at SXSW 2016, we presented our work on bioelectronic medicine in a session called Inner Space: Bioelectronics and Medicine's Future.
