Application tips and process

We are delighted you have decided that a GSK apprenticeship is where you want to launch your career.

As you might expect, the recruitment process is rigorous, but you should always bear in mind that the process is as much for you as it is us. We want you to proceed through each level in our process so that you can explore GSK and determine whether we are the right fit for you.

Top tips for your application:

  • Make sure you apply early. We recruit on an ongoing basis and prioritize applications based on the application date.
  • Complete your application form carefully, don’t rush. This is your first opportunity to show us your motivation, skills, and to make a good impression.
  • Research GSK before applying to determine if we are the right company for you.
  • Think about the skills you have to bring to your chosen role that will add value to the apprenticeship and help GSK make an impact to patients’ lives.

Candidates who successfully complete the interview process will be invited to the final step in the application process - an assessment center. The assessment center is a half-day event facilitated at a GSK work site that will give you the opportunity to demonstrate your relevant skills and abilities in a number of different ways. Candidates will participate in several activities including a presentation, an interview, a group exercise and a practical exercise. 


We aim to make offers to candidates who successfully complete the assessment center within five business days after the assessment center.
