Health doesn’t just happen inside the doctor’s office, which is why we invest in local nonprofits making our communities healthier.
GSK IMPACT Awards
Honoring outstanding nonprofit organizations that are working every day to make our communities healthier.
Building and sustaining healthy communities is more important now than ever. The unprecedented economic and public health challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic have highlighted the critical role local nonprofits play in helping those who need it the most.
Celebrating 25 years of GSK IMPACT Awards
As the GSK IMPACT Awards mark their 25th anniversary, GSK recognizes the tremendous needs that nonprofits meet in improving the health of the communities where our employees live and work. In 2021, the IMPACT Awards will again honor small- to mid-sized nonprofit organizations in Greater Philadelphia and in the Triangle Region of North Carolina, and we will do it with increased funding and other changes aimed at helping these vital groups continue to improve the lives of the people they serve.
GSK is increasing our investment in community health by raising awards to individual organizations from $40,000 to $50,000. We will select up to 10 winners in each region and award a total of $1,000,000 in funding to nonprofits that demonstrate excellence in their operations and make positive impacts on the health of their communities. Through the awards of these unrestricted funds, GSK hopes to build the capacity of nonprofits to continue improving the health and welfare of marginalized individuals and communities.
Philadelphia Foundation and Triangle Community Foundation continue to partner with GSK in the administration of the GSK IMPACT Awards program. This year's registration period ended and the winners will be announced later this year.
