US patient assistance programs
As a leader in pharmaceutical research, we are committed to helping patients gain access to the breakthrough medicines we discover. GlaxoSmithKline patient assistance programs provided medicines valued at over $600 million (Wholesale Acquisition Cost) to 450,000 patients during 2010. We offer many of our medicines free, or nearly free, for those who qualify. GSK has three programs in the U.S. that are designed to meet this need:
Bridges to Access Bridges to Access provides GSK non-oncology prescription medicines to eligible low-income patients who do not have prescription drug benefits.
Commitment to Access Commitment to Access is GlaxoSmithKlineĺs patient assistance program for oncology and specialty products. Eligible patients may receive GSK oncology and specialty pharmacy products at no cost.
GSK Vaccines Access Program GSK Vaccines Access Program provides GlaxoSmithKline vaccines to adult applicants who meet eligibility requirements.
GSK Co-Pay Assistance Program GSK Co-Pay Assistance Program is a patient assistance program sponsored by GlaxoSmithKline that helps eligible patients pay insurance copayments for certain GSK oncology medicines.
