Clinical study register

In 2004, we established our Clinical Study Register (formerly named Clinical Trial Register) to publish clinical trial data related to marketed medicines. Although locally-approved prescribing information will continue to guide appropriate use of our medicines, the register serves as another resource for researchers, medical professionals and the public. By the end of May 2006, the register contained more than 2,600 summaries of clinical trials conducted in 50 countries to study 52 of our prescription medicines and vaccines, providing greater transparency of clinical results.
