Shares & Savings

Taking a partnership approach, we share with you the responsibility for saving for the future by offering a range of programs that enable you to plan around your individual needs. These include:

  • A flexible individual 401(k) retirement savings plan that offers before-tax savings in a traditional 401(k) and after-tax savings in a Roth 401(k), with Company matching contributions after one year.
  • After one year, a stock ownership account that automatically puts 2% of your eligible pay in the form of GSK stock into that account, which you may diversify at any time.
  • After one year, enrolment in the company-paid cash balance pension plan, which invests 5% of your eligible pay.
  • Eligible employees are granted GSK shares, as an incentive for them to contribute to and have a personal stake in our success.
  • A financial education program.
