Why did you join GSK? What makes GSK a great place to work?
I joined GSK because of the company’s positive image, its mission of improving the quality of human life (I truly believe in the importance of the work we do here) and the fact that I could have such a unique career opportunity in Montana - my home state. GSK also has great benefits and fantastic people who I work with every day.
What have been the challenges in your role?
Probably the most notable challenge in my role has been an expansion project that is currently wrapping up. The project has been both a great challenge and learning experience for me. It hasn’t always been enjoyable, but it’s taught me a lot about managing contractors, time management, project planning and the importance of good follow through.
What have you learnt and enjoyed?
I love learning something new everyday. The learning never stops. The people I work with are great, from my coworkers at the Hamilton site to my colleagues around the globe since they are all smart and enjoyable people to work with and learn from. Besides, working together towards common goals and objectives makes it all worth while.

What responsibility and progression have you experienced so far?
I’ve been given, and encouraged to accept, as much responsibility as I could ask for and to really test my abilities, but I’m also given the necessary support so that I’m not completely overwhelmed by it.
What are your career aspirations and how do you see GSK supporting that?
My career aspirations are to advance within GSK either locally at the Hamilton site or through the global organization. As the company continues to grow and prosper, I’d like to be a part of that process and grow and prosper with it.
