Shares & Savings

Taking a partnership approach, we share with you the responsibility for saving for the future by offering a range of programs that enable you to plan around your individual needs. These include:

  • A flexible individual 401(k) Plan that offers before-tax savings in a traditional 401(k) and after-tax savings in a Roth 401(k), with Company matching contributions after one year.
  • After one year, a GSK core contribution where GSK contributes 2% of you eligible pay into the 401(k) Plan account
  • After one year, enrolment in the company-paid Cash Balance Pension Plan, where the company contributes  5% of your eligible pay into an account that earns a pre-defined interest..
  • Eligible employees are granted GSK shares, as an incentive for them to contribute to and have a personal stake in our success.
